Chemical Weathering
Chemical weathering is when chemical reactions break down the bonds holding together the rock. Making them break and fall apart, producing tiny pieces of rock. Chemical weathering is much more common on watery places because water is important to the many chemical reactions that can take place. Warm temperatures also cause chemical weathering.
